Steps for creating a Squarespace 404 page on version 7.1
Go to Pages and hit + under the “Not Linked” section
Name your page
Click Edit in the top left, then “Add Section”
Choose a layout you like
Style the copy, images, and colors (add a gif if you’d like!)
Save
Go to Design> 404 Page > (Drop Down) and select the page you created.
